Malawian-born singer - Onesimus - has made quite a name for himself in Africa since 2012. Born in Blantyre, his star began to rise when he joined a dance group 2006. He discovered his knack for lyrics in 2008 when he joined the rap group Blessed Beyond Measure (also BBM Clique) - dropping famous tracks such as “By My Side” and “Random Thoughts”. But the multi-talented artist was to venture into a solo career soon after, working on an unreleased hip-hop mix​ ​tape called “Beyond Limits” for a year in 2009 before he found his true calling - singing his way into the hearts of many.
MESSENGER, is Onesimus’ 2nd studio album, and entered at number #40 on iTunes on the day of it’s release. The 14 track album features Gqom Queen Babes Wodumo, and award winning producers Dr Moruti, Gospel on da Beatz, and his main producer DJ Megi. “Time really worked hard. Its been really amazing, its going to blow a lot of peoples minds… I was lucky and blessed to work with so many talented people” says Onesimus. MESSENGER is a fusion of Afro Beats and Urban​, Alternative​ Gospel​ Compilation ​ that has set Streets, Churches and Club Dance Floors Ablaze.
