Salaam and artistic director emeritus Baba Chuck Davis, this traditional tribute to those who have passed on features music and drumming, a libation ceremony for the ancestors conducted by the DanceAfrica Council of Elders, and performances by this year's visiting company, Les Ballets de la Renaissance Africaine 'Waato Siita', Compagnie Tenane, and other invited guests."
