IN SOLIDARITY WITH ONE BILLION RISING
WINGS is an awareness campaign in support of V-Day and ONE BILLION RISING, global activists movements to end violence against all women (cisgender, transgender, and those who hold fluid identities that are subject to gender-based violence), girls and the planet, initiated and produced by Siân Pottok (singer songwriter based in Paris, France).
“During the past 18 months, this campaign has brought together more than 30 artists from all over the world, who have different backgrounds, musical influences (rap, urban, jazz, pop, soul, world, classical…) and origins. WINGS is an artistic journey and a dialogue between men, women, dancers, musicians and singers who came together with the desire to create and deliver a song of freedom, a song of love and support to women and girls. All the music and videos were homemade and recorded at distance by all the artists.” - Siân Pottok
