Moyo sio gula (Life cannot be bought, i.e. life is precious/priceless, it cannot be replaced if lost)
Lily Tembo, popularly known as Lily T, died on September 14, 2009 in Lusaka. She was born in 1981 from parents of north western part of Zambia (mother, Kaonde language) and eastern Zambia (father, Nsenga language).
She will be remembered forever. May she rest in peace.
This video has been added in tribute to Lily Tembo and her amazing career of going against all odds to make her music career dreams come true.
The news media say she died of gastritis, an ulcer-like stomach lining inflammation (irritation & swelling).
Shed a history of gastritis, thus it reached a chronic level for her to die from it (extremely rare for her age & access to medical care). Its treatable & nonfatal if risk factors are avoided (e.g. acidic foods, alcohol, coffee/tea, chronic stress, etc). Please see video link below on gastritis and how to treat it.
