After the big success of "Time of Our Lives", RedOne Records is proud to present the release of
“It’s My Life", the new single by Chawki!
The single is now available to Pre-Order on digital stores in selected countries and soon will be
available worldwide.
"This is more than a simple song, this is a reflection of what I feel and think and it's my perspective
towards life - it describes me: a positive, devoted person. I do what I love, I'm a free spirit with lots
of dreams."
Chawki isn't alone on this one. Dr. Alban joins the crew as an asset to make this fantastic new
single even better.
"He is a great professional, he knows how to do things; It's a great honor to work with him, I've
been a huge fans over the years and now I have this opportunity to meet him and share my
passion with him. "It's My Life" is in fact a song by Dr. Alban from the 90's that I loved a lot - and
this idea to make a new version of it is perfect; We tried to update the song to today's trends, but
keeping the original essence and roots."
RedOne is of course behind this extraordinary revival. "Both of us are always thinking about doing
things to make people happy, we want to overcome the borders of countries and cultures around
the world through music, mixing different genres, from the arabic to latin... and reach everyone
with no exceptions or limitations."
Due to the single’s success, many great artists showed interest in collaborating with Chawki. Most
recently, Magic System collaborated with Chawki & RedOne on their new single "Magic In The Air"
which became a big hit in France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and the MENA region.
In 2014, BeIN Sports, the largest global network of sports channels in North America, France, Asia
and MENA, approached RedOne to produce a song for the network. RedOne immediately thought
of Chawki. Chawki co-wrote and RedOne produced the anthem "Time of Our Lives." This new
official song of BeIN Sports was synchronized during the World Cup soccer games in June 2014 and
continues to be the network’s theme song. BeIN Sports networks reach of over 100 million sports
fans worldwide. This song was TOP10 on iTunes France and it's remix hit TOP 5 on "Hit Des Clubs"
chart.
"It's My Life" continues the legacy and path that will lead Chawki to the biggest stages of the
world, with new and exciting projects coming soon with a single objective: to make all fans around
the world happier and with a message to never quit their dreams.
