Ya Rayah (Arabic: يا رايح Yâ râyiḥ, meaning "you, the one who leaves") is an Algerian Chaabi song written and performed in 1973 by Dahmane El Harrachi (Amrani Abderrahmane). This song was known as the original song of Dahman El Harrachi and in the Chaâbi/Andalous tradition of Algiers. This song is a ballad of the traveler, of exile, of the desire to return, of the immigrant, of the "wandering star", etc., hence its universal appeal.
In 1993, she was performed by Franco-Algerian singer Rachid Taha on the second album of the same name.
